HOW HARBOR IMPACT BASKETBALL STARTED

This all began with Harbor Impact Basketball Founder Rodney Alexander, Jr.  and his passion to help young people from his hometown, Benton Harbor, Michigan change the trajectory of their lives.  After retiring from professional basketball overseas, Coach Rodney returned home and knew he had to do something to help the next generation maximize their potential and earn college basketball scholarships like he did  Rodney Hoops began, just before the Covid-19 Pandemic hit in 2019.  But  that didn’t stop the mission. Coach Rodney just took the dream outside to local parks and his own driveway. 

Harbor Impact now has K-12 training programs, Boys & Girls AAU Travel Teams a Summer Camp and more more than  400 student/athletes of all ages
